Music has been a passion of Ms. Marika’s for as long as she can remember.  Since childhood, she has studied voice, dance, and piano.  She has performed in many choirs, as a solo vocalist, and in lots of musical theatre productions.  Some favorite roles include Eliza in My Fair Lady and Marion in The Music Man. Ms. Marika graduated from the University of California of Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Music minor.  During her time in Davis, she was Vocal Director for the Davis Musical Theatre Company’s Young Performers program and the Northern California Actor’s Theatre. Ms. Marika is a newcomer to the lovely state of Washington.  She is so excited to be a Kindermusik teacher because she can touch the lives of so many children and help foster parent/child bonding.  She has a one-year old son and has seen Kindermusik play an important role in his life already.  She looks forward to sharing these experiences with your family.

Ms. Rebecca Heib

Ms. Rebecca Heib truly understands the incredible gift of music and the power it has in the lives of children. This is rooted in her own personal experience and adoration of music. Rebecca’s passion started at a very young age when she was inspired by musical influences in her family. Her grandmother, who was a concert pianist and her father, who was a professional dancer and teacher were tremendous inspirations to her. She was given a violin at the age of eight and this began her musical journey. Rebecca progressed greatly and fell in love with music as she grew up. She played first violin in orchestra was actively involved in drama and drill team all throughout high school. During College, Rebecca pursued dance and took many ballet and jazz classes at Spectrum Dance Company. She also was involved in private guitar, piano and voice lessons as well.

Along with her musical talent, Ms. Heib has a genuine love and appreciation for children. She has worked with children for nearly 20 years in a classroom setting, as well as individually. Currently, she is an instructor in the Bellevue Community College Parent Education Program as well as a public speaker for many groups including P.E.P.S, Mothers and More and M.O.P.S. Through Rebecca’s many years of working with families, she truly appreciates the desires of each parent in wanting the very best for their child!

And the very best is what Rebecca brings to every Kindermusik class! In her own words: “ I love what I do! There is a beautiful awareness that through each class experience—social, musical, emotional and physical, there are many miracles that are shared and treasured between each parent and child. I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of these special moments!”

Because of Rebecca’s immense experience with young children, parent education and her years of musical knowledge, Rebecca brings understanding, enthusiasm, and great joy to each Kindermusik class!

Ms. Donna White

Donna White brings a wealth of experience & enthusiasm to her love of teaching
music and  working with children.  She has been singing for over forty years in choirs, duets and as a soloist.  She enjoys all kinds of music, from classical to rock and loves to share music with everyone.  If you recently noticed a woman humming her way through the grocery store - that might have been Donna.  She also played the piano, violin and guitar, but likes guitar the best.

Her teaching background fits her perfectly for the Kindermusik environment.  She has taught children of all ages and raised three sons to love music and learning as well.  Donna has taught Sunday School, seminars on parenting, adult trainings, and  classes on communication skills.  She loves to learn and get kids excited about learning, too.   She has been a counselor and clinic director for years and is currently earning her Master's Degree in Counseling and  working as an adoption counselor.

Donna's main goal in Kindermusik is to make learning and growing fun and exciting.  Her sense of humor and gift for performance makes class time fun and easy to join in.  Parents and children love to sing and dance in Donna's classes.   Children will find they are developing skills and talents without even trying.    Her obvious love for people complements her knowledge and skill about music and child development.  Experiencing the love of learning is what Donna is all about.

Ms. Nicole Muhlestein

Ms Nicole grew up in a family of seven children where music was a central focus, and still is today with her own three children.  She started piano when she was five and continued with lessons through high school.  She also played the clarinet through junior high and sang in many church choirs and school singing groups. Ms Nicole began dance as a young child and took classes well into college. She found that music was invigorating and energizing but also soothing and calm.

In her own words she says: " I love Kindermusik for the time it affords adults to spend quality one on one time with children.  We live in a busy world where the most precious of gifts, our children, are sometimes rushed through their lives.  Kindermusik offers a period of time for that child and their growth to be number one.  I
once heard a saying:  "All children want is for your face to light up when they enter the room.
